HASTE and the Directorate of Agencies for School Health (DASH) BC are helping the BC Ministry of Education provide a broad range of supplies and incentives to BC schools that are promoting active trips to school through the Walking School Bus and Bicycle Train Program.
To access the supplies, in addition to providing information about where to send your supplies, please tell us about how your school is promoting regular active trips to and from school. Any initiative that promotes regular walking or cycling qualifies for support, e.g. Walking School Buses or Bicycle Trains, participation in IWalk or Bike to School Week, a weekly walking program, etc.
We'll add your school and initiative to the HASTE Provincial Showcase Map. If you are just getting started promoting active travel to school, check out the rest of the HASTE site for resources, program ideas and potential program partners. And remember to always plan for safety!
