Bike to School Week 2014: May 26-30th

Bike to School Week is a chance for Schools throughout Metro Vancouver to encourage and celebrate students and their families cycling to school. This year, HASTe BC and HUB are teaming up to provide more resources and support to help schools coordinate their Bike to School Week efforts.

We've tried to make it quick and simple for schools to sign up, track rides and submit their results:

  1. Before the event, register your school. We'll send you a resource kit to help you plan your school's Bike to School Week event.
  2. During the event, use the Classroom Participation Sheet to track your school / division / team's rides to and from school over the course of Bike to School Week.
  3. During the event, watch for an email or come back to this page to submit your school's participation results. We'll pull all of the numbers together and announce this year's winners in June!

Why should your school register?

Want to know what's up for grabs?

Riding a bicycle is the perfect way for kids to be active, help the environment, and have a lot of fun on the way to and from school. Riding to school builds regular physical activity into the daily routine, providing a strong foundation for a healthy lifestyle and a lifelong love of cycling.
